The National Static Caravan Owners Union (NSCOU) is a member-led, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting fairness, transparency, and stronger protections for static caravan and holiday home owners across the United Kingdom.
Our mission is to support, represent, and empower owners while campaigning for higher standards, fairer practices, and greater accountability within the holiday park industry. Every decision we make and every pound received through membership fees is focused on benefiting our members and strengthening the voice of caravan owners nationwide.
NSCOU is operated by a small committee of volunteers with experience in member representation, governance, consumer advocacy, and organisational management. We are committed to ensuring the Union remains independent, ethical, transparent, and fully focused on the interests of its members.
Our Principles
- Operate with honesty, integrity, and openness in everything we do.
- Represent the best interests of caravan and holiday home owners.
- Promote fairness, transparency, and accountability across the industry.
- Ensure membership income is reinvested directly into member support, advocacy, campaigns, research, and future services.
- Follow fair and democratic processes when making important organisational decisions.
- Maintain compliance with relevant UK legal and regulatory requirements.
Membership fees and donations are used to help fund support services, awareness campaigns, legal partnerships, research projects, and initiatives designed to improve protections and standards for owners throughout the UK.
Our long-term goal is to establish NSCOU as a nationally recognised organisation representing holiday home owners at a national level while remaining fully independent and member focused.
As part of our commitment to transparency and accountability, NSCOU will publish the required company and financial information through Companies House in accordance with UK regulations.
Members will continue to play an important role in shaping the future direction of the Union, including campaigns, priorities, and member services.
Together, we are building a stronger, fairer, and more transparent future for holiday home owners across the UK.
